Acting Premier to handover new house to needy Chaneng family

As part commemorating the International Nelson Mandela Day, North West Acting Premier, Nono Dumile Maloyi will hand over a house, which was built with an alternative technology, to a needy Chaneng village resident in the Rustenburg Local Municipality.  

Acting Premier Maloyi will be accompanied by MEC for Agriculture and Rural Development, Desbo Mohono who will handover livestock and implements for the food garden to the beneficiary. 

This year’s Nelson Mandela International Day will be celebrated under the theme: “It is in Your Hands”. 

Former statesman Nelson Mandela believed it is in our hands to make our world a better one for all, especially the poor, vulnerable and marginalised.

The handover will be held as follows:
