South African sprint star Akani Simbine, through his foundation, has partnered with the Department of Education to donate 135 mobile desks to Tsunyane Primary School in Lekgalong outside Rustenburg.

The initiative aims to provide learners with essential classroom equipment, ensuring a conducive learning environment that promotes quality education. Speaking at the handover event, Simbine emphasized the importance of investing in education and creating better opportunities for young learners.
