In a heartwarming celebration on Mandela Day, 27 graduates from around Rustenburg received certificates after completing a caregiver course made possible by Impala Rustenburg and Tapologo, a home-based care program in Phokeng. The ceremony marked a significant achievement for the graduates who studied for a year, covering various aspects of caregiving, and successfully passed their exams.

Congratulating the graduates, Bishop Kevin Dowling from Tapologo encouraged them to follow their passion and continue their dedication to caregiving. Bishop Dowling highlighted that Tapologo, which started in 1997 in Freedom Park, has grown to assist more vulnerable communities. This graduation ceremony marks the second class of graduates, with expectations that they will contribute significantly to Tapologo’s mission.

Moses Motlhageng Chief Executive Impala Rustenburg also congratulated the graduates, reaffirming the company’s commitment to supporting local communities. Impala Rustenburg has been a steadfast supporter of Tapologo since its inception in 1997.
