Journalists from various media houses across the North West Province were invited to a media open day at Moses Kotane Hospital, where they observed the notable improvements in the facility’s operations. The media was welcomed by the hospital’s cleanliness and the warm reception from friendly staff, a testament to the hospital’s ongoing efforts to enhance the patient experience.

Moses Kotane Hospital CEO, Khumisho Gloria Mmolawa, outlined several areas where the hospital has made significant strides. Among these improvements are heightened security measures and enhanced in-house services, such as laundry. Mmolawa proudly showcased the hospital’s state-of-the-art digital X-ray machine, which has streamlined diagnostic procedures, and the psychiatric ward, which serves patients for a 72-hour observation period before they are transferred to other facilities for further treatment if necessary.

Mmolawa also took the opportunity to remind the community that although Moses Kotane is a government hospital, patients are still required to pay for services rendered, as part of their commitment to sustainable healthcare.

The media open day organized by the North West Department of Health provided a glimpse into the hospital’s progress, reaffirming its dedication to offering improved healthcare services to the community.
