The Lerato Kgaswane Foundation NPC has made a remarkable impact on the lives of three learners from Mmanape Secondary School in Tsitsing, just outside Rustenburg.

The Foundation, in partnership with Rising Stars Generation, selected three students — Mampho Monareng (15), Letlhogonolo Khunou (17), and Malcom Moshuwe (16) — to attend a week-long Disciplinary and Transformation Camp. The camp, which took place from October 4th to October 12th, 2025, focused on instilling discipline, leadership, self-awareness, and resilience in the participating youth.

Lerato Kgaswane, the visionary founder of the Foundation, expressed deep pride and joy at the success of the initiative.
“With joy and a sense of fulfillment, we know we’ve made a tangible difference in the lives of these three Mmanape learners. Helping them attend a discipline and transformation camp is more than just a milestone – it’s a testament to the power of community, resilience, and second chances,” said Kgaswane.
“I’m humbled by the trust placed in our foundation and grateful for the support of our partners and team. This achievement reinforces our mission and fuels our passion to continue empowering lives. It’s a reminder that even small ripples can create significant waves of change.”

Teachers and parents from Mmanape Secondary School echoed her sentiments, praising the Foundation and its partners for investing in the future of their children.
“The change we’ve seen in these learners is inspiring,” one teacher shared. “Their attitude, discipline, and sense of responsibility have noticeably improved since returning from the camp.”

The Rising Stars Generation program is well-known for its transformative approach to youth mentorship, focusing on self-discipline, emotional intelligence, and long-term goal-setting. Through interactive workshops, real-life testimonials, and guided mentorship, learners gain tools to take charge of their lives and make better decisions.

As for Mampho, Letlhogonolo, and Malcom, the experience has not only been life-changing but has also sparked a newfound drive to excel in their studies and inspire their peers.
With initiatives like this, the Lerato Kgaswane Foundation continues to solidify its commitment to uplifting young people and building stronger, more resilient communities.
