Two North West football clubs, Lerumo Lions FC and Orbit College FC, are in Nedbank Cup Last 32 action today, with both sides playing their fixtures in KwaZulu-Natal.

Orbit College FC open the day’s programme when they face Premiership outfit Lamontville Golden Arrows at 13:00. The match was rescheduled after it was postponed on Saturday night due to a heavy thunderstorm that made the pitch unplayable.

Later in the afternoon, Lerumo Lions FC take on Mkhambathi FC at Sugar Ray Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00. The encounter presents another opportunity for a North West team to progress in South Africa’s premier knockout competition and gain national exposure.
Both fixtures underline the demanding nature of the competition, which often requires teams to travel long distances. With two provincial representatives in action on the same day, the North West football fraternity will be hoping for positive results in KwaZulu-Natal.
