Lethabo’s Rustenburg Bus Rank killer in court today

A 19-year-old GeelhoutPark Secondary learner is expected to appear in the Rustenburg Magistrate’ Court on charges of murder and attempted murder. Police in Rustenburg arrested the suspect in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old learner at Rustenburg Bus Rank.

Lethabo Sibanda was stabbed on Friday, 02 June 2023 after he was involved in an altercation with other learners. According to the police, another learner who was also stabbed, was transported to a local hospital. The 19-year-old suspect fled the scene after the incident but was later traced and arrested.
