Maboloka-Based NPO Benefits from Masello Lolo Foundation Charity Ride

The picturesque Hartbeespoort Dam was the backdrop for a heartfelt charity event organized by the Masello Lolo Foundation. More than 100 cyclists from across South Africa participated in the charity ride, aiming to raise funds for destitute communities. This year, the beneficiary of their efforts was Thusano Prevention Programme, an NPO based in Maboloka.

The Masello Lolo Foundation generously donated sanitary towels, toiletries, and other essentials to Thusano Prevention Programme, which supports over 100 schoolchildren with homework assistance daily and feeds more than 150 community members. Puleng Matlhabe Motaung from Thusano Prevention Programme accepted the donations, expressing profound gratitude to the Masello Lolo Foundation for their support. “Any kind of donation is welcome as we deal with poor communities daily,” Motaung said.

Masello Senne, founder of the Masello Lolo Foundation, shared her delight in giving back to the community on her birthday. “This charity drive, now in its fourth year, is something I look forward to. It’s heartwarming to make a difference,” Senne remarked. She was also surprised and moved by the attendance of her parents at the event.

Senne extended her thanks to the sponsors who made the event possible: Royal Excellence Security, Bophelo Emergency Services, BMW Rustenburg, Khusela Group, and Mitch Footwear. Their support played a crucial role in the success of the charity ride, ensuring that the essential donations reached those in need.
