Action SA leader, Herman Mashaba is set to lead a series of visits to various tribal authorities in the North West Province on Monday, 19 January 2026.

The visits form part of ActionSA’s ongoing outreach programme aimed at strengthening relations with traditional leadership structures across the country. The party says the engagements are intended to promote dialogue on governance, service delivery, and the role of traditional authorities in advancing development at a local level.

ActionSA has reiterated its view that traditional leaders remain a vital pillar of South Africa’s democracy, particularly in rural communities where they continue to play a central role in social cohesion, land administration, and community leadership.
According to the party, the North West visit will provide an opportunity to listen to the concerns of traditional leaders and communities, while also sharing ActionSA’s vision for inclusive governance and cooperative leadership.
