New EFF Councillors Sworn In at Moses Kotane Council

Moses Kotane Local Municipality, four newly elected councillors from the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) party were officially sworn in today- 24 January 2023, at the Moses Kotane Local Municipality chamber.

The swearing-in ceremony, which marked the official induction of these representatives, was conducted with utmost solemnity and civic responsibility. Councillors Sethibedi Joel Sikoane, Naomi Manosi Matshoba, Hermina Lebogang Mogorosi, and Morgen Thuthugang Molefe took their oaths of office, pledging their unwavering dedication and commitment to serving the community.

Magistrate H.M Modiba, presiding over the ceremony, emphasized the significance of upholding the principles of the constitution. Each councillor, in turn, affirmed their solemn commitment to these principles and their responsibility to serve the people of Moses Kotane Local Municipality with integrity.

The event underscored the democratic process at work, as the new councillors embark on their journey to contribute to the governance and welfare of the local community.
