The ANC’s Interim Provincial Committee in the North West said they were confident that the party’s 9th provincial conference will be incident free. The conference which will be held in Rustenburg Civic Centre on Saturday until Sunday will among others discuss policy proposals emanating from the recently held National Policy Conference of the ANC.

There IPC’s coordinator Hlomane Chauke said they have ensured that the conference would not convene with disputes and appeals unresolved. “The Provincial and National Dispute Resolution Committees have concluded all related dispute resolution processes and this conference will convene without any of the disputes or appeals unresolved” he said. The conference expects over 1200 delegates, 800 of whom will be voting.
