North West MEC for Social Development Survives Accident, Hospitalized

North West Media for Social Development, Lazarus Mokgosi, is currently recuperating in hospital following an accident en route to Rustenburg today, March 14, 2024.

Acting Premier of the North West Province, Nono Maloyi, has issued a statement to inform the public that MEC for Social Development, Lazarus Mokgosi, was involved in an accident near Swartruggens in the Kgetleng Local Municipality while on official duty.

Acting Premier Maloyi has confirmed that MEC Mokgosi sustained minor injuries and has been admitted to the nearest hospital for medical attention.

The Acting Premier has extended well wishes to MEC Mokgosi, expressing hopes for his swift recovery.
