North West Media Awards Appoints Berlina Lekgethwane as Official Spokesperson

The North West Media Awards, hosted under the Non-Profit Company Compassion Awards Foundation Investments (CAFI), has announced the appointment of Ms Berlina Lekgethwane as the official spokesperson for the prestigious provincial awards.

Ms Lekgethwane brings with her more than 15 years of experience in government media relations, corporate communications, and marketing. She holds a BA and Honours in Communications from North-West University and a Master’s in Public Administration from Mancosa.

Beyond her professional expertise, Ms Lekgethwane is widely recognised for her leadership and advocacy work. She is the founder and CEO of Perfect Thrive Modelling Agency and the Berlina Lekgethwane Foundation. Her passion for women and youth empowerment earned her national recognition as a finalist in Mrs South Africa 2023.

As the official spokesperson, she will oversee communication services, engage with the media, drive stakeholder relations, and implement communication strategies that highlight the Awards’ vision and mission.

“Leading with vision, empowering with heart” – this guiding principle will define Ms Lekgethwane’s leadership as she takes on the responsibility of amplifying the Awards’ mission to recognise excellence and passion in media across the North West Province.
