North West Mega Expo – Rustenburg Show Kicks Off with Vibrant Start

The much-anticipated seven-day North West Mega Expo Rustenburg show commenced with enthusiasm on Monday, February 26, 2024, promising a week of economic stimulation and entertainment. Scheduled to conclude on March 3, 2024, the Expo aims to invigorate the local economy while providing job opportunities for residents of surrounding villages and townships.

With 50 individuals already employed as ushers and cleaners, the Expo is making strides in addressing unemployment in the area. Moreover, it serves as a platform for Small, Medium, and Micro Enterprises (SMMEs) to showcase their products to a diverse audience, fostering entrepreneurship, particularly among the youth.

Large corporations are also seizing the opportunity to exhibit their offerings, attracting potential clients and strengthening relationships with existing customers. Whether attendees seek a fun outing or a family expedition, the North West Mega Expo offers a comprehensive experience for all.

The Expo commenced with a flourish, featuring exhibitors presenting a wide array of products and artists showcasing their artworks. Attendees were treated to captivating musical performances, ranging from local talents to renowned national artists. The second day of the Expo was marked by an exciting auction, offering unique products and providing an opportunity for attendees to acquire exceptional items, all while contributing to charitable causes and community support.

Throughout the week, attendees will enjoy a choral music choir competition, a fashion show unveiling the latest collections from local designers, and a music festival showcasing a diverse lineup of artists and musical genres.

Doors will be open from 9 am to 8 pm from Monday, February 26, to Thursday, February 29, and from 9 am to 11 pm for the last three days of the expo. Admission fees range from free entry for children aged 0 to 6, R45 for ages 6 to 18, and R85 for adults above 18. Tickets are available at Spar outlets and online via Ticketpro.
