Prudence Kgonono Sworn In as New EFF PR Councillor for Moses Kotane Local Municipality

The Moses Kotane Local Municipality has officially welcomed Prudence Kgonono as its newly sworn-in Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) Proportional Representative (PR) Councillor, marking a new chapter in the council’s leadership composition.

The swearing-in ceremony took place at the Moses Kotane Sub-Region Magistrate Court in Mogwase, where Magistrate MJ Matebesi presided over the proceedings and administered the Oath of Office to Cllr. Kgonono.

In her remarks, Cllr. Kgonono expressed deep appreciation for the opportunity to serve the community and pledged to uphold the values of transparency and accountability.

“I take this oath with humility and integrity, committed to serving our communities and working with others to build an accountable, responsive municipality,” she said.

Cllr. Kgonono takes over from Cllr. Nthabiseng Mollo, who recently tendered her resignation from council.
