Royal Bafokeng Sports Jr. NBA Finals a Triumph

The 14th annual Royal Bafokeng Sports (RBS) Jr. NBA Finals, held on 21 September and 5 October 2024, was another resounding success, attracting over 4,250 community members and school learners who gathered to cheer on the talented young athletes. The event celebrated the skill, passion, and dedication of the Bafokeng youth in an unforgettable showcase.

A special congratulations goes to the winning teams and all participants for their exceptional performances. The dedication of the athletes, coaches, and officials was evident, with special recognition going to the hardworking officials for their professionalism.

The highlight of this year’s finals was the presence of NBA legend Ron Harper, who inspired the young athletes with his words of encouragement during the 21 September event. Harper urged them to continue working hard, pursue education, and remain committed to their craft, stating, “The more you play, the better a player you become.”

The RBS Jr. NBA program continues to serve as a platform for nurturing young talent, building their confidence, and promoting the love of basketball within the community. Well done to everyone involved in making this year’s finals a spectacular success.
