The Rustenburg Local Municipality Mayoral Cup is set to display the best local talent in soccer and netball on Saturday, 29 June 2024, at the Barseba Sports Ground. The event promises an exciting day of competition as the top four teams in each sport face off.
The Mayoral Cup, designed to unearth and promote talent within the municipality, saw numerous teams participate in the knockout stages to earn their place in the semi-finals.
Soccer Semi-Finals:
- 9:00 AM: Hungry Lions from Monakato will take on Pimville Kicks from Lefaragatlhe.
- 11:00 AM: Olympia Stars from Rustenburg North will compete against REC College from Ntsedimane.
The winners of these matches will clash in the final at 2:00 PM. The highly anticipated final will be streamed live on the Municipality’s Facebook page, allowing the community to join in on the excitement.
Netball Semi-Finals:
- PMR will face off against Seraleng Hungers.
- Luka Ball Controllers will compete against Rising Stars from Meriting.
