The Hollywood Foundation and Khuli Chana Foundation Unite for Back to School Drive

In a joint effort to support education and uplift communities, The Hollywood Foundation and the Khuli Chana Foundation, established by renowned South African musician Khuli Chana, are teaming up for a Back to School drive. This initiative aims to provide essential school supplies to learners in Kleksdorp and Mafikeng, underscoring their commitment to fostering education and community welfare.

Khuli Chana’s significant contribution to Reahola Primary School and Kunana Primary School reflects a sincere endeavor to alleviate the financial burden on parents and empower learners as they embark on the new academic year. These schools hold a special place in the Khuli Chana Foundation’s mission, as they serve as pillars in supporting over 400 students, ensuring that the lack of school essentials, such as shoes, does not impede learning in primary schools across Gauteng and the North West.

The Khuli Chana Foundation’s previous #ExtraMile campaign, initiated in 2022, saw the donation of over a hundred sets of school uniforms to students in need between 2022 and 2023 in Gauteng and the North West provinces. This ongoing commitment underscores the foundations’ dedication to education and community upliftment.
