Top artists to rock Moruleng Stadium this weekend

All roads lead to Moruleng Stadium this weekend. The mixture of Amapiono, Afro Soul, Gospel, Hip-hop and Kwaito from more than 20 local artists and top national artists will rock Bakgatla-ba-Kgafela. 

On Friday 21 April the Bakgatla-ba-Kgafela Tribal Authority hosted a media launch for the much 

anticipated Mmamitlwa food and music festival taking place this weekend at the Moruleng Stadium. 

As part of the launch, Bakgatla introduced some of the projects that they are planning to do for 

Moruleng community which include a road fixing project, a school necessity drive for children who  belong to child headed households.

They also launched a new section of Mphe Batho Meuseum in Moruleng.

Manager in the office of Bakgatla-ba-Kgafela Tribal Authority, Sebele Pilane said the main aim of these projects is to uplift the community and boost the economy of Moruleng.

“The pothole drive is one of the CSI projects that we have for our community. This is a first of its kind and we want to attract tourists and boost the economy of our beautiful Moruleng. Our people must be uplifted, so we are inviting artists, entrepreneurs and food vendors to come and showcase their craft. The Moruleng Stadium has never hosted a festival before and this will be its first,” said Pilane.

Music and food lovers will enjoy different types of music genres from artists such as Kelly Khumalo, Taki Ndou, Ayanda Ntanzi, MA-O, KO, Makhadzi, Bongo Maffin, Mr JazziQ, Kuli 

Chana, Fifi Cooper and many others, emceed by Stoan Seate, Lebo Molax, Lesego Phiri and Thabang Sefotho.
