In a groundbreaking effort to promote environmental consciousness and community involvement, Yarona Rustenburg, in collaboration with the Directorate: Community Development (DCD), has launched the Collaborative Environmental Education Campaign 2024. This ambitious initiative aims to become an annual fixture, emphasizing the critical need to safeguard our planet for future generations in Rustenburg.

Amid rising environmental challenges, the Collaborative Environmental Education Campaign 2024/25 aspires to equip individuals and communities with the necessary knowledge and tools to contribute effectively to sustainability. The campaign integrates efforts from various units, including Marketing & Communications, Integrated Environmental Management, Waste Management, and Community Facilities.

“At a time when the health of our planet hangs in the balance, it is imperative that we come together as stewards of the environment,” remarked Theron Rapoo, Unit Manager: Marketing & Communications at Yarona Rustenburg. “This campaign embodies our collective commitment to preserving the natural world and inspiring positive change.”

Key Highlights of the Campaign
