You FM has announced major changes to its programming lineup, bringing back some familiar voices while introducing fresh talent to the station’s dynamic team.
Station Manager Tebogo Mashego has confirmed that renowned comedian Jones Blaq Gzus is making his return to You FM. Previously featured on the station, Jones will now co-host the popular Afternoon Drive Show (3–6 Avenue) alongside Jomo Monama and Sweetness Motsepe.
The Breakfast Show also sees a shake-up, with Pat Cash back in the mix. The morning slot, dubbed Breakfast is Served Fresh, will be hosted by Pat Cash alongside Keamogetswe Ratlhagane, Kaynam Black, and Kgosigadi.
In another exciting move, You FM welcomes Dubbz, all the way from Madibogo. Mashego revealed that the station went as far as Johannesburg to bring her back home. She will be keeping listeners entertained on the Midday Boost, airing from 12:00 to 15:00.
A major highlight of the reshuffle is the return of former You FM 89.8 presenter, Leroy Gopal, who will take over the station’s flagship Weekend Breakfast Show.
Meanwhile, Olefile Kgalegi is stepping into the early morning slot, hosting Monday to Friday, from 03:00 to 06:00.
Other key lineup confirmations include:Motlhaping Modise continues to anchor the News Hour from 7pm to 8pm.
Sydney Letsapa will remain a weekend favorite, hosting Friday and Saturday from 18:00 to 22:00.
These changes officially take effect from Monday, March 10, 2025.
