Orbit College FC maintained their unbeaten home record in Rustenburg with a hard-fought 1–0 win over Polokwane City at Olympia Park Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Mswenko Boys, backed by a lively crowd of supporters who sang throughout the match, broke the deadlock in the 62nd minute. Monnapule Saleng’s attempt to advance into the box was halted when he lost possession at the edge of the area. However, the loose ball fell kindly to Alucius Wagaba, who wasted no time in rifling a powerful strike into the top right corner to score his first goal of the season.
The result handed Orbit College their second victory of the Betway Premiership campaign, ending a frustrating five-game winless run. The three points also lifted the Rustenburg-based side to 12th place on the log, climbing two spots from where they started the day.
Fans celebrated long after the final whistle, praising the team’s resilience and determination. For Orbit College, the result not only boosts morale but also solidifies Olympia Park as a fortress in their debut top-flight season.
